CGI has an immediate need for an experienced Project Manager to manage a high-profile project for a global banking client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the project throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through implementation, partnering with industry and/or business unit subject matter experts and influencing strategic direction, developing plans and using substantial latitude.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure project plans and communications are aligned across multiple delivery partners
Provide a proactive interface for project stakeholders and senior management to help ensure business requirements are clearly defined and address relevant needs/problems
Manage project teams to achieve project goals, including planning, assigning, scheduling, monitoring and reviewing project activities
Monitor business testing/quality assurance to help ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria before implementation
Prepare, present and maintain project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, staffing, and costs
Manage project risk by identifying risks and driving effective mitigation strategies
Support engagement financials including forecasting, billing, etc
Provides technical direction in the maintenance and development of the extract, transform and load (ETL) aspects of the data warehouse. Maintains an understanding of the inputs received from the data source providers. Performs analysis, design, development, and implementation of new ETL requirements. Recommends changes to enhance the data warehouse data cleansing and conversion processes. Supports testing and validation of the new data conversion processes. Responsible for planning and monitoring schedule milestones and deliverables for assignments. Possesses strong SDLC experience and manages appropriate levels of systems documentation as required.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Knowledge of Informatica Power Center, Enterprise Data Catalog and Axon are a plus
Technical database experience, data analysis and analytical skills are a plus
